Take out the light, the EP from San Ré, leads off with Acquainted, a thumping reflection of relationships best kept at a distance, and is underpinned by disconcerting ambience while buoyed by floating arpeggios. The playful Say Something features syncopated jazz beats beneath spirited chords within a club-like atmosphere. The third track, ‘Oumuamua, inhabits an otherworldly atmosphere, pondering the presence of ancient alien spacecrafts within our star system. Absurd is an angsty and bitter recall of a formative early memory, followed by Scramble, a melancholic meditation on alienation and isolation. The EP is concluded by Reacquainted (Germanium Insanium Jazz Mix), an upbeat interpretation of Acquainted featuring multiple artists and an exuberant vocal sample from San Ré.

Winner of the Special Jury Award for Creative Technology at the 2022 International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, His Name Is My Name is an Instagram-based animated documentary series from JONGSMA + O’NEILL that explores how the crimes of WWII-era perpetrators still reverberate through today’s society, shaking the foundations of our homes and our families. Part detective thriller and part personal visual essay, His Name Is My Name tracks Eline Jongsma’s investigation into her family’s history, and shines a light into a still-dark corner of Europe’s past.

The documentary series is one of three artworks for the project Houses of Darkness and will also have a place in the exhibition The Memory of Camp Westerbork, in the museum of Remembrance Centre Camp Westerbork in The Netherlands.
Featured in The Guardian, Vanity Fair, VICE, and nominated at the 2022 IDFA. Watch the film and learn more on Instagram at @hisnamemyname.

All album proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), a non-profit medical and humanitarian charity that cares for people affected by conflict, disease outbreaks, natural and human-made disasters, and exclusion from health care in more than 70 countries.

Acquiesce, the debut EP from San Ré, is a richly textured and angsty exploration of relinquishing control in an absurd cosmos where chaos reigns supreme.

Acquiesce leads off with Also Surreal, a raw and aggressive industrial EBM / techno track, followed by Lunar FOB which imagines a near future in which Earth’s moon is being colonized and mined by “world powers” competing for control. Draw Me a Cat is a lament for a lost friend, for lost childhood friendships and for their fading memories, and is followed by Flutter, a richly textured, contemplative track with undulating synth bass beneath syncopated beats and percussion. Acquiesce is concluded by Turtle Hill, a sentimental and nostalgic homage to a particular space and time of transformational physical and spiritual healing and rebirth.

Limited edition cassette tape, each with one of three limited edition j-card interior artwork variations, two limited edition photo prints all in handmade packaging. Cassette tape includes Sequin Select (single) as a bonus track.

It’s a Long Way Back to Sunset, the debut EP from Daze Gates, was made during a time in which the artist battled severe and sustained insomnia and acute accompanying delirium. Each track attempts to capture the varying stages of delirium experienced. Ambient soundscapes dance around heavy synth atmospheres, encapsulating a range of styles including minimal electro and house to industrial EBM. The limited edition cassette tape is arranged in such a way that it flows seamlessly from start to finish, with no breaks between tracks on side A, and with side B including prolonged, and arguably disturbing, ambience that is not included in the digital release. Each copy of the cassette tape includes a physical component that eludes to the struggles faced during this period of insomnia and delirium.
